Whatever the need, whether assisted living or skilled nursing care, The Cedars of Monroeville offers pleasant surroundings where residents can receive the care they need by experienced, trained staff. Residents may choose from private or semi-private rooms or suites.
The Cedars offers 90 assisted-living rooms and 59 skilled nursing rooms. There are handicapped accessible rooms and bathrooms in the assisted living area. The spacious rooms are warm, comfortable and welcoming. The concept at The Cedars of Monroeville is that there are different levels of care readily available, and our trained staff can provide a higher or lesser level of care as needed.
A full range of medical services is available on-site, including therapy, dental, optical, and podiatry services. Long and short term care, vacation and respite care are also available. Every effort is made to make a resident's stay pleasant, including hair salon, manicurist, and gift shop.
Activities are held daily. Each month finds everyone celebrating at a birthday party to honor that month's celebrants. Other activities include Bingo games, religious services, entertainers, and crafts. Outings include shopping trips, baseball games and movies.
